Back at it!

So it has been just a little while since I’ve been actively blogging and posting on Social Media. Well… guess what?!?

As you most of you know, I’ve been on a bit of a hiatus the last little while. Moving a few thousand miles to Japan took its toll on me and running Leelou.

1. I was hugely distracted by beaches, snorkeling, delicious food, World War II battle sites, castles, and a whole slew of other fun stuff.

2. It put me into a wonderful spiral (heavy sarcasm here) of Depression and Anxiety. Something that was helped with therapy, medication, and eventually deciding to move back to the U.S. ahead of schedule. I’m totally open about my experience in this post that you can READ HERE.

ANYWAYS…enough with the reasons I’ve been laying low.

I’ve been working hard the last 6 months to get Leelou going again. You can see some of the changes in the branding and website.  I’ve taken a hard look at what I can do best, who I can serve best, and how I can serve them. I promise there was a lot of deep thought and prayers about it!

Over the last 10 years, blogging has evolved from a hobby to one of the first steps in creating a business empire. There have been HUGE changes in how people blog and where they are blogging. Leelou is making a few changes as well to keep up with it all.

I’ve decided to pivot a bit and start focusing more on the business aspects of blogging and other small businesses. I’m going to write more tutorials and am working on some courses. I am choosing to focus more on content and products that provide tools and assistance in running a small business on the crazy and marvelous thing called the internet.

I have loved working with my blogger clients for the last 10+ years. I am just taking Leelou a few steps further to serve those who want to learn more about monetizing their sites and running businesses in the digital world.

I’ll be offering some freebies here and there, but will no longer be doing the monthly desktop and mobile backgrounds. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to me!
